OK, I thought of something. Why. The Hell. Do dress pants have so many buttons/hooks/etc. Is anyone really using the button they put in the inside and the buttons on the outside? For the life of me I just don't understand. Discuss. LOL

Yes! totally agree! ...and they put the button and the hooks too close to each other. I found a pair of Calvin Klein trousers at TJ Maxx (translate: good quality) and while they have a button and hooks, so much easier to put on...

Honestly, I have always popped the inside buttons. Not on purpose, mind you. I'm looking forward to the day where I have a flat(ter) tummy. I carry a lot of my weight around the middle.

UGH. Spend five minutes writing a post to have it eaten by the website. So frustrating.

Angry, I'm sorry you're having a rough day. Thankfully its still early and there's plenty of time to turn it into a positive, healthy day.

I'm two weeks into my recommitment. I'm down 6 pounds and have done days one and two of the C25k plan, the third one tonight. I'm feeling pretty good.

I'm worried about my older son. He started college in the fall and since leaving high school, he's put on about 30 pounds. Unfortunately, he's so much like me. I took him on a long walk when he was home visiting and told him my weight story from high school to now, the ups and downs, the effects on my body and my mind. I told him about the LoseIt app and we talked about exercising again. He ran cross country for 6 years and as soon as the season was done his senior year, he stopped running. He's struggling right now, thinking he's not losing fast enough and its really only been a week for him. All I can do is continue to reach out to him daily and encourage him and support him. I hope he's hearing me.

My menu. I'm 3.5 years out.

B: 1/2 C light cottage cheese; 2 oz tuna fish with 1 TBS light mayo; nine 34 crackers

S: cabbage soup

L: Navy beans and h am

S: turkey roll ups with 1oz Swiss cheese and sunflower shoots and mustard (YUM)

D: veggie burger with a fried egg

S: cabbage soup (probably)

Day three of C25k tonight.

You're so right. WTF dress pants?

Apparently Tuesday really is the **** day because my day ended up being sort of ridiculous as well! Although I got to arrive at work late, immediately upon arrival our wifi was down and then our front door broke and then I spent hours reading about unemployment compensation because in a few months we're going to be closing to do an expansion and renovation project and will have to furlough many employees

Here's to a better Wednesday! Though I have to say...it's not looking all that up to me. I'm at the point where I have very little food in my house, but I have ZERO time to make it to the grocery store so it's getting a bit bleak.

Time since surgery: 18 months

B: Quest bar, coffee and cream

S: ???

L: egg salad and string cheese

S: turkey sticks and Babybel

D: TJ's chicken sausage

S: trek mix!

TOTALS (which will go up a little with a morning snack, once I dig something up): Calories 1005, Protein 79, Carbs 63, Fat 55

V/W: started

E: Zumba night and if I have it in me a Core/Strength class too!

I'm sick. No menu. Stopped at Walgreens this morning for cough drops and Mucinex. Hopefully they will give me some relief. I also used my neti pot this morning. Ewww..

I called my doctor's office yesterday and they said they won't see me in until I've been sick for at least 2 weeks. They suggested I take NSAIDS (ugh) and decongestants. My chest feels like an elephant slept on me and I can't see a doctor for another week. I'm at work though because the to-do list doesn't do itself :(

End rant, I hope everyone else has a fantastic day!
