Good morning all! This is just me whining, but ever since the update, I can only post/respond if I put my computer into compatibility view. Waaah!

So, my shopping trip was very successful and I managed to stop myself from going crazy with the Macy's card, because I could have easily spent twice as much as I did. Maybe I'll go back and get the other things I wanted (like these awesome Levi gray super skinny jeans). I can convince myself that $150 in two separate trips isn't as bad as $300 in a single shot. LMAO Kristen logic. Oh, and hello size 8 pants!

SINGLE DIGIT SIZES?! Amazing! Congratulations, K!!!

I'm returning to the real world after being a conference Sunday-yesterday. It was a great time and I actually brought back some really timely and relevant ideas and plans of action. I'm only about 10 pounds lighter than when I was at the same conference last year, but oh man, the OHs and AHs were through the roof! Between my "new" svelter body AND my new job, I fielded a lot of compliments - which is lovely, but also gets tiring for my introverted self.

Glad to be home and able to get back into my regular routine.

Time since surgery: 18 months

B: Quest bar because I had nothing else appropriate in the house, coffee with SF&FF creamer

S: more coffee, ricotta sweetened with SF syrup, this was an old favorite and I haven't had it in ages, looking forward to it

L: TJ's turkey meatballs with tomato sauce

S: Babybel and a turkey stick

D: TJ's chicken sausage with reduced sugar ketchup

S: Omega Trek Mix and a frozen Chobani tube

I'm so jealous! I want to buy tons of new clothes, but I still have so much excess weight. I'm getting really sick of wearing lose fitting clothes, and I've exhausted the back of my closet. Some of the stuff back there was so out of style I don't know why I didn't get rid of it years ago!

I totally recommend buying a few things along the way if you possibly can - Good Will, Ross, Kohl's on super sale. Don't go crazy, obviously. But having well fitting clothes helped keep me motivated!

I agree with Anny, a few well fitting clothes help keep you motivated. Especially pants. baggy pants are the worst. You can make the shirts and dresses work a little longer. I have gotten awesome deals on Macy's and Old navy clearance racks....

I can't stand baggy pants. I have two pairs that fit alright. The problem is they don't stay that way long and I don't have enough outfits. I'm stuck wearing tops that are too big at least a couple times a week, and it's driving me crazy.

I am in the same boat. I have 2 pants to wear and lots of baggy tops. I have been using coupons at Dress Barn and Avenue to buy one item at a time so I don't overbuy and waste money. I am anxious to be able to shop at regular stores, but there is a spread between women's sizes and regular sizes that seems tough to find clothes that fit.

Yay Kristen! Sz 8 and tons of goodies! I went shopping last Friday and found NOTHING! It was super disappointing. Anyway, today I feel meh. I had a headache and tummy ache yesterday and it's back today. I don't know if I'm coming down with something but I am not amused.
