Silenor (doxepin) and RNY

I'm taking this medication for the first time this evening.  I have big time insomnia.  It says to take it without food.  But also one of the side effects is nausea...And with RNY I am wondering how this effects the situation??  Anyone been down this road with this drug??

My doc gave me some to try - worked like a charm with 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep.  No nausea for me.

I am trying to take it only when experiencing several days of very poor sleep - 3 hours or so.
