What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
on 9/30/15 7:55 am
Good morning. I have to say I have been treating myself to some new sweaters and shirts. I am trying to buy ones that are more fitted. I used to buy things so big I thought I was hiding my rolls. I am buying colors other than black. One thing I really want to get is another statement necklace. I did buy a new purse but I can't have that till I am down 5 pounds. I was going for a higher number but the purse I have is huge.
B:Omelet with cheese and bacon
L:Pumpkin Quest bar. I bought a box last night after I tried one in the store. I think they are really good.
D:Never got the salad I wanted last night so tonight is steak with salad with blue cheese
S:Cheese stick, yogurt
Vitamins are in water is going down. Exercise is running up and down the stairs and working on stacking wood for our fireplace
Have a wonderful Wednesday
Have you tried Kohl's for statement necklaces? I'm BIG into statement necklaces (I can't wear earrings anymore - after 20 minutes my ears start killing me, no matter what material they're made from).

Brisk day here in Illinois today but Lily and I got our 3.2 miles in early. I will also do the bike for 30 minutes this afternoon. Post op 3 years 3 weeks and weight at 119.6 today. On track with vitamins and fluids so far. Here's the eats:B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein powder and half a banana with peanut butter L 31/2 oz rotisserie chicken with 1/2 c squash D 31/2 oz grilled tuna with 1/2 c zuchini noodles S pumpkin cheesecake yogurt with nuts. I am so ready for sweater weather and my boots. I'm wearing a casnary yellow çable knit one today. Have a great day full of good choices everyone!
You know I am excited about all clothes now. I am looking forward to finding some shooties and some good fall shoes... still wearing ballet flats now... need to find something more weather appropriate. I know a lot of WLS people are more cold natured but I seem to be soooo hot in the last few days, probably because it is so muggy outside. I am really ready for some cooler temps. Because I am a hot girl (), sweaters are not really appealing to me but I am going to get some more size appropriate cardigans... still like them a little oversized, though. And, I want some tights! And, some cute skirts... Stop me, I just want all new clothes!
My menu today:
B: Chocolate Premier Protein shake and Tea with Truvia
L: Found this at the groc store yesterday... Smithfield Ready, Snack, Go! It is basically deli meat rolled up with cheese. So, I am going to try the Ham and American Cheese and the Ham with Swiss Cheese... only 90 calories each with 9 grams protein. Would be cheaper, probably to just do it myself, but it is a time saver!
S: 1/2 cup of red seedless grapes
D: turkey cheeseburger meatloaf, 1/4 cup GG brussel sprouts with a dab of sour cream
S: 1 oz of beef jerky
Totals: Calories - 828. Protein - 92, Carbs - 60 (oops), Sugar - 27, Fats - 29
Vits/Water - going in! No scheduled exercise tonight because it is payday and I have got to get some groceries in my house! And, I took my last multi-vit this morning so I have to get them, too! I may really take some walking time around Wally World... so I can get some steps in!
Have a good day!
Tights! Yes!
In August I bought this adorable cord J Crew Skirt from Good Will with the thought of tights and boots. OMG. I. CAN. NOT. WAIT.

Another +1 on the tights. I have this awesome purple plaid wool wrap skirt that is just screaming for tights and boots.
HELP!
The beau just invited himself to dinner. Well, he wanted to take me out to dinner, but since I'm being extra vigilant on my menu this week I suggested he come over and I'll cook.
My menu has TJ's chicken sausage as my dinner - do you think if I just add in a nice salad and buy a roll for him to throw the sausage on that works? Is that a weird dinner? I can't decide!
I'm already headed to the grocery store at lunch time, so any suggestions would be much appreciated!!!!!!

That sounds OK to me! Is it like Italian sausage? You could sauté some peppers and onions to go with. Maybe add in some late season squash?
