I *might* be slightly obsessing about this....somehow I've managed to be dating the beau for two months and haven't actually cooked dinner for him yet so I'm placing ridiculous importance on this. I say ridiculous importance because you open his fridge and he literally has apple juice and sriracha - he currently lives on soups and cereal (which makes him sound like a total man-child, but I think this is the only area I've discovered so far that he isn't a grown up) - anything semi-homemade will impress this man.

Do you eat this warm or after its cooled completely?

What type of pan/dish/casserole do you use to make it? The recipe says round or rectangular...pie plate? round cake pan?

You got this girlie! But I have to admit I think it's pretty cute that you are trying to hard.

The first one I made, I made it in just a normal 'ole pyrex pie pan but now I make them in single servings using the cupcake silicon pans but for your need this time I would use a glass pie pan.   I have always eaten it cold but I don't think it'd be bad room temp either. Good luck!!!

Here's to shopping!  *raises glass of protein shake*

I've been fantasizing about getting some black cowboy boots for the fall, as I used to wear them about 9 years ago and 100 pounds lighter.  That said, I don't think I'll lose enough this autumn to be able to wear them.  I'm now on the search for the ultimate winter boot to wear that helps prevent slipping and sliding on ice and snow.  *nods*

Stuck to my planned eats yesterday! And doubly awesome, when I weighed at the gym, I had an MDR (middle digit rollover), so yay!    That said, no going to the gym from today through Monday.  I've got an skin injury on my calf, so it's not cool for me (or for the other swimmers) for me to get in the pool.  Thursday night I'll leave town to visit a relative, and it's in the country-country, where there are no gyms.  I'll get lots of walking in, though.  (FYI, there is no internet access there either, so I'll be absent until I return.)

Time since surgery: 2 months, 3 days

Breakfast: Protein shake

Snack: Coffee

Lunch: Tomato soup and avocado

Snack: Coffee

Dinner: Tomato soup???

W/V: Started

E: Walking

Cals: 730  Prot: 73.5 g  H2O: At least 48 oz, as I'll be drinking all day

Sip, sip, sip,

Oh, angryViking, kindred spirits we are. My Macy's card is my BFF! it's my guilty pleasure. In fact I just ordered two pairs of shoes. Knee length boots (my first pair ever!) and shooties. My item for fall is shoes too. I'm no longer a wide,. So my shoes from last year are stretched out and frumpy looking. Plus I never have owned a variety of shoes.

Time since surgery: 5 months

Breakfast: attempted- 2 fried eggs and 2 turkey sausage. Eaten 1 egg, 3/4 of 1 turkey sausage patty.

Lunch: stew peas

Dinner: taco salad using ground turkey

Snack: vaNilla greek yogurt and pumpkin spice flax granola

Probably a protein drink too, since breakfast didn't yields what I hoped

Congrats on no longer wearing wide shoe.   It's so much easier to find cute shoes for me now too.

Good Rainy Morning! I am already off to a terrible start, unfortunately... I ate an "impulse" handful of Chex Mix this morning (seriously no idea why), then left the house without eating anything else. I was in aisles of the store when I felt my vision narrowing. I remembered the post about about passing out in Target and ran to the checkout with a small bag of Peanut M&Ms. I ate 4 and feel fine, now, but simultaneously feeling glad I avoided anything worse and pissed at myself for making lousy choices this morning. So, let's start fresh at 10am!

...10 weeks out...

B: Handful of Chex Mix and 4 Peanut M&Ms

L: Sliced Roast Turkey Breast, slice of cheese and hood cottage cheese

D: Turkey Chili

S: Quest Protein Bar

Exercise

I ran in the rain this morning! Not far, but I've never done that, before. It felt good :) Hot Yoga tonight

p.s. I am so excited that my Fall clothes from 2+ years ago (back of the closet) are fitting well! I have some beautiful cashmere sweaters and boots that are coming out of hiding. But what I really need to find are a few good pairs of jeans to fit my weird frame. I am a size 10/12 with a small waist, huge thighs, on a 4'11" frame. I hate pants shopping!
