What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
I think I'm going to be even lazier and ROAST the veggies! But that's perfect I think - thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Kristin and all,
I love love love shopping now that I can go into any store, and I find Marshalls and Macys and Nordstrom Rack are the best options for me! Also, Express (which totally has vanity sizing and I am sometimes a Small which is ridiculous but I will take it). I still wear wide calf boots sadly - even as a size 8 the normal boots are just slightly too tight on me. We have warm and muggy and rainy weather here in DC but tomorrow the high is 59! WHAT? I am also a leggings or jeans and sweater girl. With boots. Never thought I would see the day.
I am two weeks from my arm lift and I have two goal shirts for after. Both are so cute but RIDICULOUSLY tight on my arms. Every time I am in the gym in a tank top I am looking at my arms and dreaming of how they will look post brachioplasty.
Time Since Surgery: Almost 22 months
B: Coffee with half and half, crab cake (weird for breakfast, but delicious)
L: Leftover ground turkey meat, avocado, shredded cheese, a few multigrain chips
S: Cucumbers, blueberries
D: Same as lunch
S2: TBD - may want something after the gym
E: Strength training class tonight for 50 minutes, then Bollywood dance for 50 minutes
Totals: 1,200 calories, 70 protein, 70 carbs
Have a great day, all!
My lower body lift and breast lift are the greatest things in my life, period! I swear, I still marvel everyday at my new body and it's been six months! I am excited about the arm lift, but not excited about the scars. My surgeon says I will be pleasantly surprised however. It's a mixed bag - now when I am at a baseball game (for example) and wave my arms in the air, I notice how they flap. After surgery will I be as self-conscious about waving my arms and having scars? We will see. At least when they are down by my side they will look normal LOL. And yes, I opted to do arms in Fall/Winter since you have to really be diligent about being out of the sun and I will be wearing sleeves for the next few months :)
No leg sculpting for me - again, all about the visibility of an inner thigh scar (when in a bathing suit). I will deal with the hanging skin there since the thighs are covered by my clothes at all times. Nothing will help my saggy calves, I am afraid.
I will post a pic on Friday - since I have started this new workout regimen I am seeing changes in my body and all I can say is, make sure your lower body lift includes buttock augmentation! It's the best ever LOL.
I am going to have to get my legs done regardless of scars... I even have fatty skin hanging off of my knees!
I don't know if you remember the movie, Mystery Alaska, but there was a scene of one of the guys describing the noise of having sex with a chubbier girl...thwap, thwap, thwap. This is the noise my legs make now when I walk around with just a night shirt on. And, it is only going to get worse!
I honestly don't worry about scarring... probably should... but, they will be my battle scars!!
Yes, I also have fat knees so I know what you mean lol. But my surgeon told me a thigh lift doesn't really do anything for below the knees...the long scars go from the groin down towards the knees in the inner thighs. I will deal with that saggy skin I have decided.
You can see I have major leg hanging skin in this pic:
If you go into my photos, click on this pic to make it bigger and WOWZA the skin ain't cute lol!
Happy Wednesday!
I love fall and am so excited it is here!! :) We went on vacation, and came home 2 weeks later to a changed place. The weather cooled down, the pumpkins were out and some leaves are starting to change. YAY!!
However, I HATE socks and shoes... so I am holding off as long as possible to moving over to that portion. I also am looking forward to a little shopping, as my sizes keep changing and I will need a few cooler weather clothing. Small NSV - I packed for vacation 2 weeks before leaving, with new shorts that I sewed the waists a little smaller. When I arrived almost all of my shorts were too big and falling off :) It was a pain to have clothes falling off constantly, but nice that I was still loosing so much only a couple weeks made a difference!
Time since surgery: almost 4 months
B: RS peaches n cream oatmeal, 1/2 pkt
S: nothing...
L: tuna salad w/ melted cheese and RF triscuit thins. 4 brownie brittle pieces (paying for these now, nauseous!)
S: Nut clusters
D: Turkey Manwich, acorn squash
S: Cucumber & cheese
