I can totally see the difference in your face!   That is fantastic!!!

Just curious (and this is my own curiosity) when do you start solid foods? At two months post op I would have figured you would have been on soft foods or regular foods by now.  Your menu mainly consists of liquids.  And just a small piece of advice, if you are going to eat solid foods, pleas skip the bread, pasta, rice etc.  You had three bites of soup but half a roll, not a good choice in my opinion, the roll is just asking for trouble.  Eat carbs, want carbs and eat more carbs.

There are so many wonderful choices at two months out of good protein meals and snacks.  Your shakes and soups are going to go right through you.  I hope I have not offended you by asking.  I am asking as a person almost that wants you to be successful and maximize your weight loss in those first 6-8 months.

Again, not meant to offend, just trying to help.

All the best,

Daisy

No offense taken, Daisydoo02!

I met with my nutritionist some weeks ago, as I'd graduated to solid foods.  We talked for a bit, and I asked if it was okay for me to keep drinking protein shakes, as I like them.  She assured me that I would get sick of them and to look for protein elsewhere, but as long as I was enjoying them, it was okay.

In general, I prefer softer foods.  I'm making sure I'm getting all my vitamins, water, and protein in, though.

I do eat some solid foods.   It's usually when I'm eating out-  Example: I went to a restaurant on Monday and ordered an appetizer of seared duck medallions.  I've also done beans, cucumbers, other meats, cheese, and eggs.

As for the carbs, notice my signature.  They were the bane of my dietary existence.  I gave in to that half a roll, then threw it (and the other one) out.  I know to avoid carbs for myriad reasons and that the first year is my "honeymoon" for losing weight.  I'm just facing the same daily struggles that newbies go through.  *blushes*

I do appreciate your suggestions of help, though- As long as I'm getting all my nutrients, protein and H2O, I can't fathom that leaning toward softer foods is bad for me.

*hugs*

The more you know,

A knock off of which style?  I want the leather wrap one but am hesitating because I would have to switch it out for the rubbery one at the gym and that seems like such a pain . . .

Here is my bracelet, and yes I have to change it over when I put the rest of my jewelry on.
