Oh, and yay! for the boots!!!

And, I hate keep mentioning QVC, but check them out... they have LOTS of wide calf boots that would work for you. And, they are not horrilbly expensive.

QVC you say?? Huh I will have to check that out! Even though I am hoping to just deal with the ones I have for this winter...then NEXT winter be able to buy regular boots anywhere I want!!

What I like about QVC (HSN too) is you can wear them and if they don't work you cans till return them. 30 days... during Christmas season you have until the end of January to return.

Congrats!!! So what size calf fits in 'regular' boots?? I've never owned a pair... Being a size 12 w shoe typically means nothing stylish in terms is shoes. I can get a regular 12 now though.

I am a size 12 too! So many people lose shoe sizes when they lose weight, but not me. Boo... thinner too but not smaller.

I had a friend in college that had size 12 feet as well! The only way we could find her 'trendy' or 'cute' shoes was to go to a specialty store in town for drag queens. (Cross-dressing men? I don't know the PC term nowadays... so behind the times!)

It was always an exciting journey (since she didn't want to go by herself). Their shoe selection was awesome and always had large and wide sizes.
