I am going from a sleeve to a RNY I want to know if with the RNY do u have a drain pum*****t

Drain pump, not sure what that is. A drain, I didn't, but have heard of many who did. It varies by surgeon.

I did not, but I know I've seen some in the forums who have had a drain. Like Peachy said, I believe it depends on your surgeon. No one who was on the floor when I had my surgery had a drain, and there were 12 of us who had surgery within a two day period.

Hi-post op I woke up to a few things I didn't expect, a foley catheter in my bladder, an NG tube out my nose, and a JP drain coming out of my side (drain). I had a miserable gastric band that had slipped and grown into my stomach; then due to the damage the gastric band had caused, a weak place developed in the stomach and a leak developed requiring my surgeon to go back and reinforce the area. Even with all this, I do NOT regret my RNY revision. Pain was not bad at all.
