Pain Lower Left Side
Hi Relay2015 here. I've been to the ER twice since surgery on the 15th. I have this horrible pain but after two CTs nothing can be found. I swear at times it feels like when I was pregnant and the baby was moving. It feels like it's moving. I'm so wondering if I made a mistake. Please if anyone has had or heard of this I need help. I'm literally feeling an alien is coming through my stomach.

This is a long shot and doubtful because it is rare, but a Spigelian hernia is suppose to be hard to detect. My pain with this kind of hernia was in the lower left side. I did not feel pregnant nor like an alien was coming through my stomach, however. It was plain 'ol pain that came and went depending how active I was. Again, doubtful, just throwing it out there.
We were told at the WLS support group I attend, and it was attested to by several members, that many folks feel pain in the left side for a few months after surgery - apparently it's normal and common. My surgery is this Monday the 28th, so I haven't had the "opportunity" to experience this or not, but if nothing can be found wrong with you, this just might be what you are feeling.

Gas bubbles can cause severe pain and they move around. Have you tried Gas-X while you are having symptoms? The Gas-X strips work really fast. Sometimes you need to take two. Get a package of them and try it next time you feel the pain. If it's gas pain, you should feel relief in about ten to twenty minutes.
