How much do you exercise?
I have listened (and will continue to listen) to the veterans of the site, and totally disregard the "calorie burning" aspect of my exercise. I do it because it's healthy, it makes me feel stronger, and will help me live longer and healthier. I exercise i the morning and find it puts me into a healthier mind set for my day, and it helps me del with day to day stress in a more positive way. Generally speaking of course.
I also do it because before surgery (and before I started losing weight) I Wasn't able to even walk from my car to my back door without stopping to rest (and it's only about 50 steps and 5 stairs). I was in prison then and I have thankfully been able to start breaking those bonds. It feels good to be more active. Now I bike 20 miles on a Saturday just for fun, or kayak, swim, walk, do yoga or what have you; I exercise 4 - 5 days a week, 30 to 40 minutes at a go. 6 weeks out I was only able to do about 20-30 minutes of walking or stationary biking at a time but I slowly built up my endurance.
Anyway - good luck to you in your journey!
