Good question!  I'm afraid mine aren't really the kind you're looking for.  As I'll be swimming, I'll need something relaxing rather than with a good beat to keep me from overdoing it. Right now, it's all about Enya LOL.   When I'm looking for something more fast, NIN will do.  The songs March of the Pigs or The Hand That Feeds are always good.  *nods*

I'm musically weird. For me, working out music isn't about a great beat, but just what I enjoy listening to. :)

My #1 recommendation anything by 'A Great Big World'. Everything they do is so happy!  It's hard to not smile at their lyrics.

I also listen to anything by Sia, Hozier, Pentatonix, Avicii, Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz, The Script, Lana Del Rey, Florence + The Machine, Alex & Sierra, Christina Perri, The Lumineers.

Then again, what makes me weird is I also love instrumental music such as The Piano Guys, or anything classical. Give me a good Russian Symphony any day! (lol)

Good Morning! After multiple scheduling conflicts, I finally made it to my first Zumba class last night! So I have a plethora of NSV....I was able to do the full hour class and keep up! And I looked like most everyone else in the class---that really made this whole weight loss journey real for me.

Good morning,

Rain is starting here, so glad for the heat to break too!

AV I kind of miss and kind of don't miss all the softball my oldest used to play.  Weekend tournaments wore me out, but I did enjoy the games and the camaraderie of the other parents as well.

Now my youngest plays field hockey, first game of the season tomorrow night.  Can't wait to see how much the team has improved since last year.  Last year was the first year our high school had a team since the 1970's.

Time since surgery:  4+ months

B:  Premier Protein shake

L:  Turkey tenderloin again

D:  ?   Dauhter has team dinner, hubby has PT, will probably have turkey tenderloin again.   Last night ended up getting Thai beef teriyaki to share with dd.  Ate too much, but it is so good and so much lighter than Chinese.

S:  Babybel and Mary's gone crackers.  Need a new snack or two.   Really need to go shopping.  Maybe I will do that tonight while everyone else is out and about.

OMG!  FIELD HOCKEY!!!  Where do you live?  I played high school field hockey and even played Div III in college.  I absolutely LOVED it!!  I'm so jealous.  There are only a handful of schools that play in Wisconsin and they aren't near us :(

I live about 20 miles South of Boston in a very small town Whitman.   Most of the high schools around here play.  I absolutely hated field hockey, I was terrified of getting hit by the ball or the stick.  My youngest loves it, she's not great at it, but really enjoys it.  Of course she likes everything she tries for at least 2 years.  softball, soccer, basketball, dance, karate, violin this is her second year of field hockey, we will see if she still likes it next year.  My oldest played softball for 12 years, basketball for five, volleyball and soccer for two, dance for 10 and cheerleading for 3 oh and clarinet for 1.   I like to keep them busy.
