One week post op and you had beef tips? Let your poor little pouch heal. At 13 years I still couldn't. / wouldn't eat that much

Even at almost 13 years out it still amazes me how little I eat. I early post op waited for that full feeling. I never experienced it but also never felt hungry. This WLS is such a mind game too. Make sure you measure is the best advice

Hi Izzy, I hope your body starts to listen you soon and you can become satisfied after eating. I am still pre-op so unfortunately I can't give any valuable advice but just know that I am in your corner and rooting for you!!

To be honest, took a few very painful lessions to lean what new "full" was. I think it happened twice and now I know when I have gotten what my body needs from that meal. You don't want to push yourself or force it but you need to test you new stomack, it is relearning everything again. I know how hard it is and there is the big fear of streching your new stomach out but you need to learn your boundries. Once you know what they are you will be able to look at a plate of food and judge how much you need. Also don't feel bad about tossing the food you don't need.  Good luck.

I am about 5 weeks out and I haven't had feelings of really being full. Like someone else said keep measuring. I barely fit in a 1/4 cup. A couple of times I can tell I was full because I started burping. I wouldn't feel down about it.
