Stomach Ulcer

After performing an endoscopy on me last Friday my Dr. discovered that I have a large ulcer in my new pouch.  I have been placed on tube feeding and carafate, omeprazole and zofran for meds.  Just curious as to how long it might take for this ulcer to heal and for me to start feeling like a normal person again?

Actually, your small pouch is more susceptible to ulcers than your natural (and remnant) stomach...

I too had this exact issue. It took several months for me to get better. I had one relapse  It was not fun or easy for sure. are you taking liquid carafate? bland diet is what worked for me. very small meals 6 times a day

Ulcer...the one thing I haven't had yet...but it's probably on the bucket list from hell I've got going.  Yes, NORMAL, that doesn't seem like a lot to ask for, does it?
