You look great! Congrats on running the marathon & getting a medal! Thanks for sharing your story. I'm a newbie right along with you, hopefully we'll both stick around & make it to vet status.

The arms?  Holy Moly!!!!

Awards and medals and 5K?  Whew girl - you are going for it big time.  And it's very nice to see. You look happy and beautiful and I'm thrilled for you.  Keep doing what you are doing as it's obviously working.   Ash

Grats on the surgiversary and 5k!  You look fantastic, not only with the weight loss but with how healthy you look.  Great job.

Honestly and truly - I am not a runner (the years of obesity ruined my knee cartilage) but the most truly successful "life changed" post op I know is a devoted runner. She works with a trainer, has done the Philadelphia Marathon, and now teaches spin.

And if I could change one thing (well, aside from world peace maybe) - I'd wish to be an addictive runner. Because it can make ALL the difference in your maintenance and lifestyle - for life!

You look fantastic of course, and have EVERY reason to celebrate this milestone in more ways than one!

Lanie, you are a teeny tiny package of awesomeness.  Congrats on your one year AND being a secret super athlete!

I can see in your pictures just how happy you are now as compared to the "before" pictures! You are awesome!

My surgery is Wednesday and I hope to be just as successful as you!
