To be more specific: I'm female,  5'0, starting weight of 260. I lost 26 pre-op, and 21 in the first 4 weeks.  I've been stalled for the past week,  which has been my 5th week.

I am female 5.8 surgery weight 247 I lost 25 lbs in the first month, in week 5 which is where I am now I lost 1lb, hoping for more in week 6.

Just fyi, this was one of my biggest questions, how much other's have lost.  If you use the search button up at the top you can find a lot of threads with people listing their weight loss.  I've checked it out a ton to see if I am on track or not.

Best of luck!

24.9 lbs in the 30 days post-op.  I started as a heavy weight (BMI over 50) however.

Truthfully, don't judge your loss by other's weight loss.  This is your own path to health, and comparing yourself does nothing to further that really.  If you are following plan and getting healthier, who gives a **** how much anyone else lost during that time?

16 lbs.  But I'm an older female and lost 60 lbs pre-surgery.  Honestly, it depends on so many factors - age, gender, how much you have to lose, whether or not you lost weight prior to surgery, etc - that it's hard to compare.  As long as you follow your program, you should lose....

I lost 23, but others are right it all depends on you.  If you follow your program you will lose unitl your body thinks it where it needs to be.

But for an estimator on how much you can lose, check out the resources tab above, then click on post op planner.  Type in you starting surg weight, and it will give you a tracker to follow on your estimated per mth loss.  Whenever you do this always type in your starting weight not current weight,  :-)  Good luck on your journey!

Everyone is different depending on age, how much you have to lose, etc. My stats are in my signature. P.S. I lost nothing pre-op (my surgeon didn't require a pre-op diet).
