My doc told me to expect stalls at 3 weeks, 3 months, 6 months and one year

Stalls can happen anytime. I had a 3 1/2 week stall in month one and a two week stall in month three.... Now that I am further out I have plenty of weeks I don't lose and then will lose a chunk. Stick with it and it will happen.

Hi friend...step,away from the ledge.  This will be fine.  I have lost 167 pounds in 16 months and I have had so many plateau's you could choke a whale.  I lost 7 pounds my second month and almost blew an o ring!  I was stuck so many times then a chunk of weight would fall off. Follow the plan and stay the course.

deep breaths and protein.

Scarlette, thank you so much for sharing with me.  That's amazing that you lost 167 pounds in 16 months.  The fact that you had a 7 pound month, while I know it had to be discouraging for you, gives me hope that everything is going to be okay.

Stay the course, eat the protein and I've got to really get moving.

I never said it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.

And a 9 pound month.... 😂.  I can not lie.. I did not really start exercising till my 7th month.  I go 3 or 4 times a week now. I did get a lot of steps a day (between 8 and 10 thousand) in the first months but not strength training.  Keep us posted when bust that carpool a plateau!

It will come, believe me. I agree with changing things up. It works for me either way, but everyone is different. I usually can break a stall going the other way and increasing my calorie intake. I believe this has something to do with being a bander before as well. Our bodies are use to the low calorie intake from years of having that band and a little adjustment up or down in the normal intake gets it kick started. I also just fouind out that increasing the meals in the day helped (this equaled more cals for me), so I am eating the 6 meals a day (3 reg and 3 snacks). Doing this made my 4 week stall move again and I lost 5 lbs in about 1 week. I hope it works for you as well!
