A couple of weeks ago I made some. I cut them in 1/2 and took out the seeds then put low-fat cream cheese in them then wrapped each one with low sodium ham. They came out great!

ooh yum. I miss poppers but they are a trigger food for me!

Your recipe sounds so delicious though!

So, do you broil them or toast them on a griddle????

I love Poppers, but for my taste buds, the peppers must be cooked in order to take the jalapeno out of them!

I just cook them indirect cooking on the grill. Just keep the burners on one side of the grill turned off and put other the burners on high for about 1 or 1 1/2hrs. Put the the poppers on the side without the flame. cook the poppers until golden brown and the peppers are nice and tender when you squeeze.

If you are not into grilling you could probably broil them. I would broil until they turn golden brown the bake at 300 degrees until the peppers are tender.
