Good afternoon!

Crazy morning here, but not rain yet, we could use a little though.

My office is business casual and jeans on Fridays.  I usually wear dress pants or capris and either a nice knit top or a blouse.  I am loving some of the print tunics I'm finding lately. I haven't worn skirts or dresses much the past few years because I now have to wear flats; I can't wear heels because of osteoarthritis in my knees.    Age, weight, old injury and too many years of high heels did me in and flats and a dress when you're short and overweight are just not cute on me, no matter how pretty the dress or how cute the shoes.

B:  Premier Protein Shake

L:  Dannon L&F Strawberry Cheesecake (was supposed to be leftover fish from last night, I took a bite and threw it out, Yuck! Good thing I had a yogurt in the fridge here.)

D:  ?  We discussed tonights dinner last night, but neither one of us actually took something out of the freezer.

S:  Mary's gone Crackers and laughing cow cheese wedge

I'm retired but work part time for a temp service so I can wear the same thing to different jobs.  At two of the clients I noticed one person that work black slacks every day but a different top and shoes.  Not sure I could do that.  I do like a variety of clothes.  Since weight loss, I like to wear dresses and skirts.

No change DH situation.  No one can figure out why his BP drops when he stands up.  They shouldn't charge him since they can't figure out the problem.....right?  Ha Ha  I'm going to ask about getting a wheelchair at home until the BP stabilizes.

B:  Corozonas bar with a smear of peanut butter

L:  Low carb tortilla with ham & cheese

S:  Protein shake

D:  Turkey & ??

S:  Protein shake

Hi all!  It is going to be a hot day in Portland.  It is supposed to get up to 101 degrees today and 100 tomorrow.  As long as the AC at my Pilates studio holds out, I am good.  Luckily I also have AC at home, which is not standard in Portland.  I suspect I will be doing a lot of outdoor plan****ering this evening.

I don't think I could do a work "uniform."  I love wearing different clothes, and would never repeat an outfit if my budget would allow it.  I generally wear skirts and dresses.  In fact, I don't even own a pair of dress pants right now.  On Fridays I wear jeans and a top or a cardie, usually white pants or some other color as opposed to denim.  I've got a really cute pair of pink skinny jeans.  Yes, I do realize I have a shopping problem.

Not raining here but the humidity is unreal!

yesterday started with fireworks (figuratively) at work and continued to get worse as the day went on right up until our entire building lost power in the middle of a video conference.  All the stress put me into a full blown fibromyalgia flare so that just getting through the hour commute home was exhausting.

Hopefully, today will be much less stressful.

B:  Premier Vanilla Protein shake with decaf coffee crystals

S:  1 boiled egg mashed with a little butter and salt

L:  1 cup Low Carb Greek Chicken, Lemon & Egg Soup; 4 Cheddar Cheese Crackers

S:  1 Colby Jack Cheese Stick

D:  I have no idea at this point.

I stocked up on sugar free gum and disposable Colgate Wisp waterless tooth brushes to keep me from snacking

I don't have the stats on my food today.

Have a great day everyone

My new office is casual, like jeans and flip flops casual, unless you have a client meeting. What that means is I have nothing to wear to work. My jeans are all to big and the remainder of my clothes are either shorts/tshirts (and I think they'd draw the line at shorts) or more formal work wear. I'm finding it difficult every morning to figure our what to put on!

My "uniform" pretty consistently is a pair of black pants (usually black jeans) with high heeled boots and either a light blazer with a colored blouse to break it up or a black & white blouse, it hasn't chg'd to much since my WLS.  But what has is they are now fitted and a way smaller size!  whoop Whoop! Gotta love feeling secure in your clothes!

Can you identify what those ranch things are you love? I feel like I must have them in my life.

Lol, I said the same thing when I read about them in other girls posts.  They buy them at specialty cheese shops up in northern states like Wisconsin.  I found mine at food lion grocery store in the deli cheese dept where they had a shelf of slightly upscale cheese products.  They weren't too expensive, I think about $5 a bag ( a bag makes about 4 servings).  Basically they are really fresh bites of cheese with a little flavor, I think the Cajun is even better than the ranch ;-).  The brand I bought was Ellsworth, but from what I understand there are a lot of makers and they are basically the same thing...  Good luck finding them! they are yummy!
