2+ year post op advice needed please
Started at 439 pounds, about 255 pounds lost, and any slight regain I may experience gets nipped in the bud immediately. I consider my target weight range between 180 - 185 pounds and I weigh myself frequently but Mondays are my official day. If I drift toward the top of that range I buckle down just a little bit extra and if I pop outside it - which has totally happened more than once - it's DEFCON 1.

-I LOVE THIS ANSWER. This is EXACTLY what I am doing now. Hopefully, my outcome continues to be as good as yours.

Hi Kerri, I am 20 months post op, I started at 250lbs (I am 5'5") I currently weigh 118 as of this morning, (a total loss of 132 lbs). Like Karen8 posted I exercise daily and follow my Centre's plan strictly. I have heard the opposite, that RNY has the most success and its the "gold standard" of WLS (so my Centre says). Good luck

10+ years post op, living & loving life!
My start weight was 131.2 kg. 289lbs. It took me 16 months to get to my goal of 62kg 136lbs. I have stayed between 61 and 63kg for the past 7 months. I'm 23 months post op.
I eat protein in every meal and never mix proteins. 1 egg every morning
Have my meals 6 hours apart
drink water and way to much diet soft drink. Lol
keep alcohol to a minimum
don't eat bread or much in the way of processed food or milk
in saying that however, I do breakout from time to time I have pizza and chocolate and sometimes even get a little tippcy but for the most part, I try to stick to what works for me. I also eat out twice or 3 times every week. I always have steak with veg with no sauce or gravy. I always come home with at least half my meal and I have that for lunch the next day. I don't exsercize but I do ride and prep show horses.
Personally I think iv gone from one eating disorder to another. I feel guilty if I eat processed foods and i am terrified to gain weight.
I think the RNY is historically most successful.

Just about two years about two weeks away. I follow the plan given 99% now that I am at goal. Weigh nearly each morning. If I am up a pound I deal with it immediately. The 1% I am off which is rare I am especially careful the following days. I like being healthier and am now a regular clothes horse. I don't drink alcohol but never did that much before. Went from 281 to 131 size 26 to 4-6. Reading through posts from those with regain gives me motivation to stay the course.
