Frustrated with Bariatric Team

Better than everything people think of as a traditional, healthy breakfast. Orange juice? Might as well drink regular Pepsi. Toast, muffins, waffles, etc? All carbs, and crappy refined carbs at that.

Protein shakes are great in comparison. The only drawback might be that it won't keep you full the way a dense protein would. But if you don't get cravings after your shake, keep using it.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

I am too new to give real advice.  But, forme, chewing dense protein x30 minutes until it is the "consistancy" of applesauce totally defeats the purpose of keeping it dense and staying in your pouch/sleeve longer.  I am still on the journey of discovery.  I garner more on WLS boards than with NUTs info...
