Hi Betty! Glad to see you here.  I'm still a newbie, but am learning as much as I can from the vets who are years out.  I love your picture.  You are a truly beautiful lady. 

I can relate to the mother troubles, but mine is the opposite.  She didn't like my decision to have surgery and chooses to ignore it.  We don't live close so she hasn't actually seen me since, just some pictures from a wedding.  Even topics that are slightly related...on a phone call I said something about going shopping because I needed some clothes and she instantly changed the subject.  They love us, even if they show it in strange ways sometimes.
