Dreams....

OMG, last night I dreamt that my son offered me an oatmeal creme pie and not thinking I took it, ate and then freaked out. I'm at stage two right now and in the dream I knew this and was so scared I had screwed up my insides and worried I'd dump. During the dream I dumped....it was so real feeling!!! I woke up in a panic to realize it was a dream and oh so thankful I hadn't screwed up!! Anyone else have dreams like this????

For the first few weeks after surgery, I dreamed about food pretty much every night! Our brains have a lot of things to process, and my psychiatrist said it's totally normal :)

I quit smoking about 10 years ago and every once in a while I have a dream where I start smoking again.  I wake up angry at myself for a few seconds before I realize it wasn't real.  Since surgery I've had a few dreams with food but nothing that real feeling 

I quit smoking 20 years ago and still have those dreams!!   Maybe it's common with former addictions (??)

Yes, i had food dreams too. One very vivid one about "orange slice" candies, which I wouldn't typically even think about. Crazy huh?

The first couple of months I dreamt I ate so much food and one time dreamt I gained ALOT. I woke up mad at myself for a few seconds too

I had similar dreams right after surgery also.  It's kinda like the fight dream with your significant other and then you wake up mad at him/her for what he/she did in the dream LOL!!!

Oh yes, its crazy how that happens. But now to dream about magic mike..  lol

I dreamed about some kind of desert that made me lose all control. I started scarfing it down, and then stopped in the middle when I realized it might make me dump! I was pleased with myself for being able to stop in the middle but pretty bummed that I can't even enjoy a good desert in my dreams.
