Good morning, I was hoping to get some suggestions on my next phase of food ( soft / puree ) stage.  I will be two weeks out in 3 days and cant wait to actually have something solid even though mushy.  What worked for you during this stage?  I could really use some suggestions!  Thanks so much

I ate mostly refried beans with shredded cheese melted on top, ricotta cheese with salt and pepper, Wendy's Chili, scrambled eggs (be careful, some people don't do well with eggs), yogurt (Dannon Lite & Fit has 12g protein for very little calories), various soups/stews.  Good luck!

All sound yummy to me!  But doesnt everything need to be pureed?  Such as chili?

Cottage cheese with fruit packed in fruit juice, refried beans with cheese, eggs, mashed potatoes, sugar free pudding, oatmeal, grits, tuna salad and chicken salad, chili - good luck. You will do great.

I just ended this stage. I ate 1 turkey meatball (mashed) with ricotta cheese and sauce. Eggs, scrambled, or omelette style with cheese in it, Chicken salad, canned peaches, chicken breast and salsa with sour cream, fish, lunchmeat roll-ups (ham, Turkey and cheese)

I would love more breakfast ideas, I'm sick of eggs. I Don't like yogurt or cottage cheese...

I just started this phase yesterday. This morning I made a frittata with ham, cheese, and spinach for my husband and myself. Last night I had tuna salad. I was told by my dietitian anything soft is acceptable, chili, stew, soups. As long as you chew well and take your time, you should be fine for most foods. I wait a couple of minutes after my first bite to make sure my pouch is accepting the food.  My to-go foods are yogurt, cottage cheese, hard-boiled egg, cheese stick. Good luck and enjoy exploring food choices.

I lived off of refried beans with some melted cheese also, and when I wanted something sweet I would have some ricotta with sugar free jam mixed in. I also made tuna salad, I threw a can in the food processor and ground it up really fine and added a tad of light mayo and some hard boiled egg cut up really tiny. Those were my three go to items. I was in heaven when I hit that stage!!
