surgery Tuesday...it's funny who doesn't support you

This is why many people do not tell anyone about their surgery. They do not want the negative comments. Be careful you are not talking about your surgery and weight loss all the time. Honestly, people do not want to hear it. I only talked about my weight loss journey if people asked, but always made my answers short and to the point.

Good luck on your journey.

Mums the word until there is a reason to discuss it.  I found this to be good advice.

You sound like you're going to do just fine on Tuesday and thereafter.  Good News:  someone close to me did an about-face once she witnessed both my physical transformation and freed-from-obesity happiness.

Congrats on your new beginning . I say don't worry about the non supporters, they do't know your struggles. You are doing what is best for you and your health.

I'm 3 weeks out from my surgery and the biggest thing I've learned is this new journey is not for SISSIES! Good luck to you! This group is full of the most supportive people and they freely offer answers to any questions you have.
