nervous about post op nausea

I too have bad motion sickness, had bad morning sickness when I was pregnant and got nauseous/vomited after epidural and spinal block... I was SURE I was going to have terrible nausea. I warned them beforehand. They gave me an oral medicine for nausea and two by IV. Plus the scopolamine patch. I had ZERO nausea after surgery all the way to today, just over a month later.

Yes, telling the medical staff ahead of time is something to remember to do; they can work their magic helping with nausea. After WLS, the one and only time I experienced a gagging episode was standing up to take the first walk on the hospital hallways. The nurse was anticipating another gag moment when drinking the first protein mixture but, nope, nothing.    Wishing you nope, nothing moments, too :)
