I had to travel fairly often after my surgery and my go to was a plain baked potato from Wendy's with a fat free ranch dressing packet instead of butter or sour cream. About three months out I tried a soft taco supreme from Taco Bell. Couldn't fini**** was too big a meal but it stayed down and became a treat every once in awhile. Once I was six months or so out, Subway became my travel choice. The tuna salad and sweet onion chicken teriyaki make great salads.

If I ate any of the things you just suggested, I would be completely off plan.    A baked potato has little protein and 32 carbs, fat free dressing is never a first option, and a soft taco supreme has 220 calories with 100 from fat and over 20 carbs (!) and the sweet onion teriyaki salad is extremely high in sugar with 230 calories and 22 grams of sugar!

There are WAY better options traveling -- which I do frequently.  I would never be successful eating this way -- especially not during my precious honeymoon period.
