The noodles are slimy and taste like fish.

That's pretty much all tofu noodles (which is what they are, I think). You're supposed to rinse them and soak them in milk before you cook with them, but that just seems like too much to go through for me. I don't even like pasta that much! It's just a vehicle to get sauce in my mouth. And I already have a vehicle. It's called a spoon!

Just to be contradictory, I had some pre-op (the day before I started Optifast, actually) and found them to be decent as far as "baked/healthy/not really chips" chips go. The cheese something ones were the best. I thought they were great given the stats. For the record, I positively loathe Quest bars while my GF thinks they're delicious. I can only do about a bite of the chocolate chip cookie dough one, the rest all taste bitter to me.

Just got them today. Not as good as I thought but edible for 21 grams of protein weird texture and nit for every day. Just when I need a protein boost.

I actually liked the sour cream & cheddar ones (as others posted) I eat only about 4-5 and use them as a vehicle to move say hummus or chkn salad)  I can't taste the protein taste that others referred to this way.  Like the stats, protein high, calorie & carb low...

Ok I'm going to paint a picture for you. Imagine if a piece of styrofoam and a communion wafer had a baby. That is the texture.

That is hilarious!!!!!!!!!!  And we all "get it."  Picture painted!

I agree with the folks talking about the protein-y taste. If you're looking for a crunchy thing, I like the Ip's egg white chips. I find them in single serving bags at Whole Foods. Also, Saffron Road makes crispy, spiced chickpea snacks that are delicious.

I can eat about 5 quest chips at a time. My son tasted them and said they are the grossest thing he ever tasted. And, then with his bold sense of humor said that they were basically my penance for overindulging on chips for years and years and years.  LOL. It kinda made sense to me! I know a lot of people use pork rinds in place of crackers and chips... but, I haven't tried them since my surgery. Hmmm, I might have to try this weekend!

I, too, was excited to see them because I love the Quest Bars, but I they taste terrible to me.  Everyone is different and we all have different likes and dislikes.  Some people adore them.  I tried the Salt and Vinegar and one other and decided that I would not purchase them for me again.  I found my likes and dislikes really changed after surgery five years ago.

So, I guess my advice to you would be to purchase one bag and see if you like them.
