I have nothing but respect and gratitude for the vets who come here long after they've reached their goals, to continue to support newbies like me.

I did not bash you - I simply pointed out that your first post in the thread says you are considering Thrive products and then later, you post that you've been on it for a few weeks and your husband is a distributor.  That's contradictory and I drew the conclusion that you were trying to find potential sales for your business.

I come in peace and meant no harm.  I wish you nothing but continued success and good health.

I had the same impression when I realized what she said was contradictory but then I looked at the dates and saw the original post was about a month ago.

Regardless I still have a bad taste about Thrive.

I totally agree with you in that just because something is NATURAL doesn't mean its safe. so many people are selling this product and just spouting out buzzwords and some have never even looked at or understand the ingredients. i looked into it before trying it. and while i love it personally i would never make a blanket statement that thrive is for EVERYONE. i have a friend who has a heart condition and can't even drink diet coke bc of the caffeine. she could not take this product. everyone has different nutritional needs and medical conditions. people need to research the ingredients and ask a doctor if they already have a medical condition or are on medications. i don't think anyone should blindly listen to promoters. be your own advocate. i have used all the ingredients in one form or another separately through supplements so i think i was a good candidate. the only issue i'm having is figuring out what vitamins i still need to take and which ones i can stop taking. i'm going to get some bloodwork in sept to make sure. but i agree i've really been turned off by alot of promoters and their sales tactics. and whats worse making a person think THEY must have done something wrong because they had a bad experience. i was actually looking at the terms and agreements for being a promoter because i wanted to know what the catch was. i'm very apprehensive at the thought of selling this or any kind of mid level marketing stuff. i just see it as making a deal with the devil and becoming one of THEM. but i refuse to sell out and try to dupe anyone. actually the literature was clear and said that promoters (though i wonder how many of them actually read the terms and conditions) shouldn't tell people that this will help with any medical conditions, its not for treating anything. yet i've heard some people say so. its annoying and irresponsible. is Thrive for everyone? No. nothing is for everyone. people are different. if you checked it out and you're still interested go for it. some people have sensitivities to some of these natural ingredients, thats no one's fault, its just what happens. no promoter should ever blame a customer if they had a bad experience or if they decide they don't think they should be consuming these ingredients for whatever reason. also when they post those pics like "you'll drink soda and eat chips but you have to check out whats in these 'vitamins'." that tactic infuriates me. why shame people who want to know what their putting into their bodies? who cares what they eat, you should never discourage people from doing the research. especially if you stand by the nutrition you're peddling. you should have no problem with people looking into the ingredients.

but anyway just my 2 cents. i agree and wish more promoters were more honest and informed.

I'm on my second week of Thrive, not really feeling any noticeable difference.  So many I know are promoting it.  Got my 3 day sample from one person.  I bought another 3 day sample from her.  I drank the koolaid.  I decided not to buy from someone I know but instead bought online.  Why?  I don't  want to be bombarded with constant contacts and I don't want to be the poster child for someone.   I want to do it privately out of the social media's eye.  I got mine off of ebay for $100 for 30 day supply including two packs of the shakes.  I have unfollowed several facebook friends because I'm sick of being bombarded with thrive info.  I'm trying it, but I'm yet to be a believer.  I will get another 4 weeks, but after that not so sure.......one problem I have is that they're so eager to get you to buy into it after a 3 day sample....how can anyone know in that amount of time?  If I drank the koolaid, no one needs to know, so I'm not sharing it with anyone I know.  I'm somewhat embarrassed,  but I guess my curiosity has gotten the best of me.  It took months for me to finally fall.
