What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Exactly. I mean I suppose if it ever came up naturally I might tell some people but I'm not going to like send out a memo telling everyone LOL.

Good Morning! My hubby just started taking local honey for his allergies and it seems to be helping-good luck on the bee front.
I will MIA tomorrow because I have a women's leadership seminar that I am attending in San Francisco and my morning will be a little hectic. As I sit here and type this my OCD(for lack of a better term, I thrive on routines) is kicking in because Thursday's are normally gym days and the fitness room opens at 6a so it will be rough to get in a workout. I checked and there is a Starbucks about 3/4 a mile away so I am thinking I might kill two birds and walk to get coffee and then "gym" on Friday morning. Sorry for the ramble, just thinking as I type.
The blood work I had done yesterday for our wellness screening all came back great (Isn't it amazing that we can get results within 5 mins!?). They checked BMI, BP, Cholesterol (total, HDL, LDL and ratio), triglycerides and glucose. It still shocks me when I am told my BP is perfect after so many years of being told it was WAY TOO HIGH!

At my appointment yesterday my NUT said to start my next diet stage!!! Which is "The Diet for Life"! So I get to slowly introduce solid foods etc! She said don't start raw veggies yet, maybe just cooked less then" mush"
YAY! I am excited and nervous!
How are you feeling 1 month out, surgery twin?
I am feeling fantastic! I have so much energy, I forget I'm still morbidly obese :-) I'm just settling into a nice groove, but I'm not at the plan for life stage yet. (All the plans are different!) my plan in this phase, which just started Monday, is soft but not puréed foods. It feels good to chew! I am now allowed 2T of cooked soft veggies, once a day and only if I finish my 2oz of protein. I'm so stoked for my veggies. LOL now there is a sentence I new expected to hear from me! In two more weeks I hit the plan for life stage and can add 2T of fruit if desired. No raw veggies for 6 months, I believe. I don't like raw veggies anyway so I'm not planning on trying those.
I know what you mean about the nerves... I like having the choices but also get nervous that I will make bad ones. Yikes!

So nice to hear!! I hope your first week back at work (and the new job) are going well!
I LOVE raw veggies, I would rather eat most veggies raw then cooked. I was told no raw veggies yet, to wait and give it time. No cuts for 2 months post op either.
