My weight has fluctuated so much over the years that sometimes my wedding rings fit and then when I lose they don't, in the past I've always ended up regaining to where it fits again. But my solution has always been to buy a fake replacement, usually something kinda unique that still looks really nice. I usually paid 40-50 for them online and I get tons of compliments.

If anyone is curious about a ballpark going rate, the jewelry store charged $35.00 for resizing my wedding ring with the store keeping the hunk of gold cut out.

My jewelry store will give you back the chunk cut out, cost is about $40.  Always ask about the chunk... It could be worth a few dollars.

See if you can wear it on a different finger - I did that until my weight loss slowed dramatically.

I thought about doing that, but it just feels so weird. Maybe if I had a different setting or a band. Mine catches on everything.
