Welcome again! I had my surgery in July also, so did AV. I think it is common to hit a stall or slow down at 9 months. Are you near goal? In many ways I am having to learn again how to eat with this phase.

Funny you ask about goal. My doctor didn't really set a goal, more like said to reach for around 85% excess weight loss, which I reached a little before January. Needless to say I've been going back and forth between the same 4 lbs since January. I did set a goal for myself which was to be in the middle of the normal BMI range, and I haven't quite reached that yet. I'm hoping I can lose another 20 lbs so I can be in that range. I won't lie though the last couple of months I have let carbs slip back in (good carbs- no white carbs) but still, I have PCOS so I really can't do that. My plan is to go super low carb and see if I can get the last 20 lbs off.

Welcome Megan! So glad to haver you join us. It is common for weight loss to slow down about nine months but that doesn't mean you are done. Tracking and measuring my food help me to make sure my portion sizes are staying correct and that I am getting the protein I need. I love the strawberry cheesecake yogurt too! One of my many favorites!

Thanks for the welcome!! I love a lot of the light and fit flavors, but strawberry cheesecake is one of my favorites. The caramel apple pie during the winter season was definitely my favorite, and I love the salted caramel but I haven't been able to find it in the last couple of weeks. :(

Our Walmarts here in Illinois carry the salted caramel another of my favorites.

Good Morning Everyone,

I never get tired of chicken or string cheese.  I have moments where I get kind of bored with my food, then I mix it up for like 2 days and I'm always right back to the same old same old :) Sometimes I think I do that too because I'm lazy and it's easier to log foods if I already have them in MFP, lol.  I am going to make this buffalo chicken salad, I always see so many people posting it and it sounds delicious!  Oh Mamata, as far as yogurt add ins, my favorite are: chia seeds, flax seeds, hemp seeds and pumpkin seeds.  I only add a little of each, but I feel like I'm eating this healthy super food yogurt and get kind of smug and proud of myself, lol.

Time since surgery: 15 months

B - 2 string cheeses

L - Turkey carnitas and cherry tomatoes

S - Almonds

D - Shredded chicken (that I'm now thinking I"m going to turn into a buffalo chicken salad)

W/V - On track

E - Weight lifting and possibly some spinning

Have a great Tues everyone!

I'm late to the party today, but MUST get back into the habit of participating here.

Screwed up my menu today by leaving my lunch at home :-( I managed to get my snack into my bag but totally forgot my actual lunch. Total sad face. Luckily I have a stocked food station here, but it's still resulting in my second day in a row of eating bars for two meals.

Ugh, that lemon pie whatever Quest bar is the only flavor I've thrown away without finishing.  Gross.
