Hi Guys, I wanted to see if yall had a favorite powder, or shake?

I need to grab the vitamins and get going on them and there are so many to choose from!

I really like the Syntrax Nectar mixes - they are more like a juice. Cherry and Grape are my favorite. I will say they don't mix as well as some, so I always make it in a blender bottle and let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour. I also like the Isopure brand powders - Banana is my favorite. I keep a bag of the unflavored on hand to fix with soup or powerade zero. They mix really well. Th only one I found that was awful was the pineapple orange, which Amazon luckily let me send back.

Just a word of caution that many people have told me - your taste will change after surgery, so don't go crazy buying protein shakes before surgery. I found this to be true for myself - I loved the Premier Protein before surgery, by now even passing the display ins Costco makes me gag.

Good luck on your upcoming surgery!!

I like the orange flavored chew-able centrum and the twinlab calcium chews.

I loved both the chocolate and the vanilla Premier Protein drinks from Costco pre-op, but like Danie11e said, your tastes can change.  The chocolate is still good, but to tolerate the vanilla I have to add the Walden Farms calorie free syrups to it.  Wish I'd known before, because I have 2 whole cases still left to get through!

As for the Calcium, I like the Bariatric Advantage 500mg Peanut Butter-Chocolate chews.  Only 15 calories each, and they're great for a light snack every day.

Oh, and I just ordered a starter pack of the Unjury Protein powders because of all the good things I've heard here about them.  Looking forward for them to come in this week.  :)

If you can't tolerate your Premier drinks I'll bet the food bank would love them. I could only drink them ice cold but even then it was mostly grim.

I love the BA calcium chews too.

unjury chicken soup broth was my go to protein in the beginning.  The warm soup made it go down easier

Good luck on your journey!

Premier chocolate shake 30 grams of protein are the ones I like.  I can't stand the pure protein shakes.
