What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
I don't know what these Thin Addictives that you speak of are, but I feel as though I need to have them LOL!

Thin Addictives are like a biscotti that has been sliced into three really thin slices. They are packaged for individual serving. Sooo good. I love the Cranberry Almond. They sell it at Costco ...

Good Morning... I need to preface my menu and say I am a New York girl and every once and awhile we need to have our staple foods..hahahaha... pizza, bagels, cannoli, to name a few... I went to Whole foods on Saturday and they had a small package of smoked salmon (Lox in these here parts) on sale.. so Lox goes with bagels and the classic "Bagels all the way" For those of you who don't know that means a bagel with cream cheese, Lox, red Bermuda Onion, and tomato. I really should have gone to a Bagel store to get the bagel, but I bought one from the bakery. So I had a half an open-faced one yesterday afternoon. I made sure I had time to eat it slowly and savor it. So this morning after my cup of tea, I made the second half, but only ate slightly more than a half of the half. Yesterday was really too much... so I tried to be more aware of full. While I am thoroughly enjoyed it, when I eat too much, or have more just because it tastes good... it reminds me that I am not 'cured' and that I will always have to watch what I eat.

Oh, man...bagels and lox. My "all the way" is a pumpernickel bagel, cream cheese, salmon, green onion and capers.
You know, now I'm not going to be able to stop thinking about this. Thanks a lot. LOL
Hahahaha... yup it is one of those things. I never buy capers, but I bet I would like that too...

Had a good weekend here in Illinois too. Nice weather and fairly quiet days. Went to a yard sale and bought a new vest and 4 shirts for $7.50. Can't beat that. Lily and I have already walked 3.5 miles this morning and I will do another 2.5 on the treadmill later and if I have time 25 minutes on the bike. I am about 32 months post op and weight at 119.4 today. On track with vitamins and fluids and here's the food: B 1/2 c steel cut oats with nuts and half a banana with peanut butter L 31/2 oz chicken breast with hummus and pepper slices D 31/2 oz rib eye with mushrooms and 1/2 c sweet potato S yogurt with granola. Have a great day everyone full of good choices!
This has been my favorite post since I started lurking here months ago. I am one week out today. Still not feeling hunger and having trouble drinking enough water.
