Got the first denial 😟

The insurance company denied the surgery cause they said I didn't have 6 months of supervised weight lost. The doctors office said that the NUT appointments are supervised and the doctor didn't sign the paperwork. So we are hoping with the new submission next week with the doctor signing off on the NUT notes will do it. When they called I was at Chipotle with my hubby during lunch and it took every ounce of me not to cry. 6 months of changes and buying supplies for after, uggggghhh!!

Thank you! Love the picture!! Its hard waiting and now even longer. But it will all be worth it. I have to hold on to hope, stay positive. I can get thru this!!

Don't give up. I was denied and had to write an appeal letter. It took 7 months after the denial letter to finally get approved. It was hard waiting but now I'm 2 weeks post op. It will happen. Hang in there.
