4 days after surgery

hi all I'm 4 days after surgery my 2-3 hour surgery was suppost to be 2-3 hours it took 7 hours do to a previous hernia surgery that had to be repaired. But my question more to woman. I'm home but going to the bathroom and cleaning myself is THE most painful part for me right now. Humiliating as it sounds I'm desperate for advice. Did anyone else have this issue pre op weight252 lbs. it's really frustrating me. Please if anyone else had this issue please tell me how did you deal and when did it get better?thank you

Do you mean it is painful to clean properly or that your genitalia is hurting?

Im sure with surgery being this recent, its hard to maneuver properly when it comes to cleaning ourselves. I know those of us who are morbidly obese may have that same problem even without surgery. Do the best you can hunny, even if you have to stand up and lift a leg to do it. It will get better Im sure. Someone else might have a better solution for you. Hang in there!!!

atill extremely painful but day by day ... 

I used baby wipes to help.  I had a squirt (sports) bottle at the ready but didn't need it.  Maybe these will help?

All I can say is take your pain meds to ease the pain of bending...also my doc had me on a laxative, but since then im using miralax.  Constipation is a norm for us RNYers'

I had a friend that had rny years ago...she would wrap wipes and tp around a disposal spoon; like a big one that could reach and she used them for a few weeks until it got better! 

Thanks. Seems so simple like why didn't I think of that ....appreciate you taking the time ... It will be a week tomorrow and in some ways it's like great but in others I feel Like I should be further along pain ways,pain still pretty bad but every day gets better so I guess things can only go up.
