How long does the stall last?

Ok, trying to stay positive but I am getting a little discouraged. I am 5 and 1/2 weeks out and for the past 2 and 1/2 weeks my weight is not moving. I hear everyone talking about the 3 week stall and I am trying to stay positive. My plan is still a soft diet stage. I do what I am suppose to be doing. Getting in my fluids and most days get 60+ grams of protein in. Can someone tell me how long these stalls last?

Textbook 3-week stall.  I'd say any day now.

I didnt get a 3 week stall (I dont think).

But as time progressed (like months 4-11) I would hit plateaus/stalls. They lasted around a month.  However, during this time I was LOSING dress sizes and people where telling me that I was getting more and more skinny.  I thought they were nuts but I did indeed lose dress sizes.

So take your measurements too. I know it is kind of depressing to take measurements when MO. But it really will be motivating through the stalls.

I promise!

For me, so far it has been a series of starts and stops. It feels like red light, green light, 1,2,3! (if you know that childhood game). it's like go, go, go, STOP! go, go STOP! go, go go, STOP! I know sometimes it is me not working my hardest at it, and other times I am doing everything right! I guess it's just the natural progression of weight loss?

Some on here say " stay off the scale" but I still weigh every day. My longest stall so far was 7 days. Seems I stay the same for a few days then will drop a pound. I truly think we all lose differently. You sound like your following your plan ... that is a victory!! Are you exercising? Hang in there Doingrightin2015. ...you got this! This too shall pass ....

THANKS everyone! I know this too shall pass. Just didn't think it would do this so early out. Heck seemed like I could lose faster prior to surgery!! lol
