What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Isn't it amazing how that goal that seemed unattainable becomes a real possibility! My original goal was 160 and at 270 that seemed impossible. But now only did I pass that,I passed my lower goal of 145 and ended up at 120. My rheumatologist reminded me when I saw him yesterday that I have been at this weight for two years. All I can say is WOW! I would love to have plastics but I need an unknown rich relative to leave me a large sum of money! I can live with my arms and legs but would love to lose the saggy stomach skin. I have nice abs now but you can only see them when I lay down and that makes me sad. But with hubby getting ready to retire the money is not there so unless a relative shows up I will do without. Foggy here in Illinois but Lily and I will do three miles at the park after lunch. I will also do 2.5 more miles on the treadmill and 20 minutes on the bike. On track with fluids and vitamins and weight at 118.8 today. Here's the eats: B 1/2 c steel cut oats with nuts and half a banana with peanut butter L 31/2 oz chicken breast and hummus and tomatoes D 31/2 oz salmon with 1/2 c some non starchy veggie(have to hit the store here) S Greek yogurt with granola. Have a great day with smart choices everyone!

Good Morning! That is a great accomplishment-congrats!  I love MFP too-keeps things easy and couldn't agree more about this site.

The thought of plastics scares me but I won't say never but I would need to save for quite some time so who knows :)

So yesterday I signed up for a hula hoop dance fitness class that starts in May (never would have even thought about it a year ago!). Don't know what I was thinking because I can't even hula hoop but it's a beginner course so hope it's fun. A few other ladies from work are also going to join so if nothing else I am sure we will get some laughs in.

B: SF Latte, egg beater scramble with cheese and spinach, and some fruit.

S: Cranberry and almond Thin addictives with a light laughing cow cheese wedge

I keep a hula hoop in my office that I used during boring conference calls.  I'm pretty crappy at it, but it is still fun, and more of a workout then you would imagine.  Can't wait to hear about your class.

Emiepie,

To funny I bought myself a hoola hoop last fall cause the kids were trying to do it.   I couldn't do it then but I am going to try it again.

Have fun at your class

AV congrats on the weight loss milestone!  It's crazy, I'm about 25 lbs from goal and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it's equal parts exciting and frustrating (why of why can't I lose like I did during the first 6 months :)...Anyways, I'm on the plastic surgery train as well.  Em has been a huge help with the research part of it.  My plan is to start seeing surgeons in July and then have the surgery the Fri before Thanksgiving, so I only miss 3.5 days of work (that Fri and then our office closes the Wed before for a 1/2 day and Thurs & Fri).  I'm saving like a crazy person now, but I think I'll have the money (I want a LBL, a breast lift and my arms done, but it sounds like I'll have to get the arms done at a later date).  I'm so scared, but so hopeful too.  All the people on OH who are kind enough to share their before and afters give me hope!  I can't even imagine ever having a flat stomach, but maybe that'll be my Thanksgiving day miracle :)

Time since surgery: 14.75 months

B - 2 string cheeses

L - TBD (I think I'll grab a grilled chicken breast from this little cafe near by)

D - I'm going to a wine and cheese tasting class with friends.  Should be fun, but I'll watch my intake for sure

W/V - On track

E - None planned :(

Good luck in the interview Em!

Good morning everyone.  Today is my "Friday."  I am taking the afternoon and tomorrow off, because I am taking a long weekend trip to Seattle.  It's a friend's birthday, so we are celebrating in style.  I lived in Seattle for 8 years, so it is nice to go back and visit friends, and just generally ramble around my old haunts.  Love that city.

I am all over plastics, and will do it when I hit goal.  In fact, I plan on everything being lifted so high that I will be 2 inches taller.  My flying squirrel arms are the things that bother me the most now.  They are horrible, but come in handy for leaping from tree top to tree top.  I will also do my tummy and boobs, for sure.  We'll see what sags the most in the next 40 pounds.

Time since surgery:  4 months + 3 weeks

B:  1/2 Flatout, 1 oz. light mozzarella, 2 oz chicken breast

S:  Light and Fit Blueberry Greek Yogurt

L:  Black and White Bean Veggie Chili

S:  1/2 cup Cottage Cheese

D:  Homemade chicken pho (no noodles)

S:  Turkey pepperoni stick

Totals:  Calories 750, Protein 90, Fat 18, Carbs 59, Sugar 15

W/V: in Process

E:  Pilates

Have a great weekend everyone
