Excited for week 2 of Food!
on 4/10/15 1:09 pm
I'm seven days post op (ryx)! I can now venture on with a few of my pre op fav things. Lite Yogurt, oatmeal, cream of wheat, apple sauce. .. I was given a list by my drs. office what to eat, but portions weren't included. I hope I didn't overdo myself I just had a 4 Oz. Dannon lite n fit greek strawberry yogurt. (I didn't eat the chunks). I don't recall these being so scrumptious & super sweet but I couldn't stop eating it because of my clear liquid diet! Any sites that might have menu planning?
Congrats on your week out!!!! I am 16 days out!! hmmm I don't know about any sites, but the program I am in gave us very detailed instructions on what to eat and how much...I can type it out for you here if you want. I am sure programs differ... so not sure if it would be helpful or not.
Let me know.

I am brand new to this and I'm still in the week one monotony! But my program gave us specific portion sizes for the early phases. 3-4 oz maximum total in any meal.
OBTW if you haven't tried it, put PB2 (powdered peanut butter) in your strawberry light and fit yogurt. It adds a little more protein and makes it like a PB&J in taste. Just something different. I can't have it yet but tried it before surgery - totally yummy!
