Don't recognize myself.
It has been gloomy here for days. I decided to do my hair different thinking it might be a pick-me-up, and when it was done, I stood in front of the mirror ststaring at myself. I don't recognize me. Maybe I look like someone familiar, but not like me. It is so weird. Not bad, certainly, just...odd.
Despite what my tracker says (can't update it on my tablet for some reason), I am now 7 lbs shy of dropping 100 lbs. I can't fathom who I will see in the mirror when I reach goal weight.
Congratulations on your success. Are you taking photos monthly? I found this really help me to come to grips with the change. We are sorry you are having problems with updating your ticker. Let me know what your current weight is and with your permission we can update it for you

Oh thanks Kathy, I will just update it later whemwhen I am on my computer. Not sure why the tablet doesn't doesn't want to play nice!
As far as photos, I don't do monthly. I hated pictures of myself so much before, I usually hid from the camera! I am much more likely now to be IN the picture, so that is good!
hi
I went threw that too~ i would look in the mirror and i didn't recognize myself either. I would start to cry~ i got down to a size 8. I then now gained 30 lbs. Now i understand why i felt like that. For me, the weight loss was going to to fast and i couldnt catch up. Now I am trying to get that 30 lbs off again~ back to protein shakes and protein first. Wish me luck and love yourself and your journey :)
I get this so much. I don't recognize my body. I have these bones sticking out at the top of my shoulders. I've never seen them before. My body is shrinking away........so weird. Congrats on your success. You're doing great. xoxo
