Yes, that's it. Eyes on the prize. 100 pounds down by next Easter.  And we will have many, many more yard and holidays and times with family and friends as a result!

that's my mindset today.  My surgery is tomorrow (!!!!!!!!!!!!) so I can have clear liquids ONLY! So, I'm not hosting the Italian American Easter Feast for the extended family this year. That would just be too much to handle. I have my broth ready to go. I will still visit family and celebrate, and then have more water.

Buona Pasqua - Happy Easter!

You just have to white knuckle it on these hard days, and then it becomes so routine that it will be much easier. Of course things tempt me, but it would seem more odd to eat junk now than it would be to refrain.  I guess habits can form.  But I also know that I could get triggered easily if I had some candy, so it's best to stay away.  I also dump, which is a helpful reinforcer.  When I was losing I just told myself that I wouldn't cheat while losing, and would renegotiate when in maintenance.  Now I don't see the need to renegotiate when I know regain is a real threat.  You can do this!!!

Khunton, thanks for posting this. This is exactly how I was feeling! I am only 2 weeks out so I chose to go over and visit today after everyone had eaten. The food was all still out but not seeing everyone eat helped. Ready to be on the pureed stage for sure!!!
