two days ago I LOVED hummus. I ate about 2 tbsns of the stuff. Today I went to eat a teaspoon, and it almost made me yap. it was gross. really tastes changing that fast? 14 days out btw

I understand what you are saying. It's amazing how the surgery plays with the senses. It will get back to normal eventually.

My biggest problem right now is food boredom. I'm so sick of purees! I even get sick of things that I love when I eat them everyday.

I totally understand where your coming from I am having that trouble now and i am almost 4 weeks out the food issue bored with what we can only eat or drink, I am having trouble drinking my protein shakes that i loved now there tasting nasty I know it will pass but when were limited to certain food it is hard good luck and hang in there

I was thrilled to get out of the puree stage.  It was nice to chew actual food again.  It does take the pouch a little while to like you eating actual food again though, at least for me it did.

Surgery date: 2/4/15

Highest weight: 315. Pre-op diet weight: 289.  Surgery weight: 260.  Current weight: 138  Goal weight: 160
