I get the hiccups when I am full eating/drinking.  Started in the hospital.   Only a few hiccups and I know if I continue on eating/drinking I will be very uncomfortable.

Yes, I get the hiccups when I am too full, with food or liquid. It can happen if I eat too much or sometimes if I drink too fast. If there is enough in my pouch and I try to add more, the hiccups will start.

Congratulations on your surgery   Try focusing on when you are eating and take a bite, chew slowly and when drinking, sip, sip, sip.  See if that helps, but yes, we all have had this happen. Hang in there
