I'm SO COLD!!!
You know, I've always been a cold person. Now, it's exponential. I am fully dressed when I go to bed: sweatpants, t-shirt AND sweatshirt, socks. And my office is a meat locker. I looking at my arms right now and I have goose bumps. LOL

Good News, it does subside with time. Bad News, it seems to go from "FREEZING all the time" to just "cold a lot of the time." Things that helped me: drinking boiled water in a thick mug, microwaving all-cotton socks, and vigorously cleaning the house. Hope you get more hints to make it through the post-op freezing stage.
Hmm...interesting ideas. I will take you up on some of those. I am in the Northeast, and my hubby goes by his ridiculous motto of "no heat til trick or treat." So that does not help. Lately I've been making massive fires in the fireplace and sitting on the floor next to the fire to watch a movie at night. He thinks I'm ridiculous but he just doesn't understand! :)
LOL @ 'no heat til trick or treat'. My husband is the furnace police, too. We've had it on a couple of times already this fall, but only when it's been below freezing. Typically in the winter it's set at 58 because he's a terrible person. ha-ha I'm doomed this year...

Yes, it was quite a shock to me, too! It has been better the past 2 years, but even at 7 years out, I still get chilled easily and if I get really cold, it is hard to get warmed back up without a heating pad, electric blanket, got bath shower, etc.
14 years out; 190 pounds lost, 165 pound loss maintained
You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
I've seen a change from always - always - being too warm/too hot; I kept the house at 55 thru the long, dark, cold Alaska winters. But this year I am definitely seeing a change. I don't want to heat the house up much just because the natural gas is so expensive, so I too have gone to layering. Multiple shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts and I sometimes wrap one of my many wool scarves around my neck (that one REALLY helps). Still, I'd rather be too cold than too hot so I guess I don't really mind it LOL!! (Didn't I read somewhere that shivering burns calories, haha!)
