Not saying you cant have the packaged ones ever again but i decided im going to eat the modified versions untill im in maintance and then once in a while use those "real" things as a rare treat!

I have only dumped once since surgery, and it was on mozz sticks!  Bad choice for me! Don't ever want to do that again!! LOL  Cindy

I always suggest that you eat "clean" for some time. Once you start messing with Pandora's box, you'll regret it. It's easy now to resist it - it won't be so easy later on.

Do yourself a favour and put off all the crap foods for quite some time while it is easy to resist.  They might come back to haunt you too early.

I don't know if you're familiar with Nik and bariatric foodie, but I seen a recipe on her site for WLS friendly cheesesticks and thought I may be fixing them soon:

I have made those... they are AWESOME and definitely better for you than the fried variety.

If you are talking about the deep fried ones....probably not the best choice unless it is a rare occurance.  I have taken a bite of one without issues.  More than that I cannot eat the food I ordered from the restraunt.

However,  Just plain only mozzerrela sticks...the kind that are just cheese from the dairy section of the grocery .....are a great choice for portable protein.
