Topic: back to work tomorrow 2 weeks after banding
Just thought I would post on RI forum too! I am going back to work tomorrow!
It took some calls but finally got the DR office to send the right paperwork so they would let me come back! It was funny, the first set of papers stated I would be out of work 4 weeks, one call fixed that!
I am ready, I just finished packing all my 3 ounce meals to last me throughout the day so I am excited.
See Nutritionists Kim in the morning to get instructions on week 4 foods, I think it is the 3 meals with 2 plan snacks.

Topic: RE: Too Young??
Hi Kaila! Congrats on your surgery date!

I think whatever age you decide to commit to getting healthy is the right age. When I was 24, my doctor recommended RNY and I declined because I was too apprehensive and thought I could do it on my own. After 6 years of gaining and losing the same 70lbs over and over, I'm glad that I started the process for VSG. I truly wish I had done this 6 years ago.

Don't worry about the negative feedback. As long as you are comfortable with what you are doing and you feel like you are making the right choice, then go for it! The best thing you can do is start building a support system, so focus on filling your life with people who will be a positive influence.

Topic: RE: tomorrow mushie food!
I am doing great! I have lost 9.9 pounds already!
actually 1 egg scrambled with 1/2 of a laughing cow cheese, then measured 2 ounces out and that is what I ate today Wednesday morning. It left about 1 ounce so next week i can eat a whole egg!
I also cooked up a sweet potatoe and mashed with milk and lt margerine 2 ounces with salt pepper was also very taste! I have to go read your post about your date congrats!
