I am 7 weeks out today and Dr. Pohl worked his magic on me. Between my 5 week preop and my 7 weeks post op i have dropped 86 pounds and feel like a new man. I can eat anything. Nothing makes the pouch cranky. Steak, Chicken, what ever... I am at 800 calories a day and not starving. getting 120 Grams of Protein with some shake help and as little carbs as possible. I have a ton more energy and feel wonderful... I know I am a poster child for how this is supposed to go, but I have plenty of space on the poster for another poster child. I hope it all goes as smooth for you as it did for me

To everyone else...thank you for your kind words.
MUCH APPRECIATED!!
I am hoping some one can help me. I need to have my Psyche eval done before they can submit for approval, The surgeons office gave me a couple of names but one is not on my plan and the other is booked through the end of time. If you can tell me who you went to see I would appreciate. you can Im me or message me with a name if you don't want to put it on a public forum.
I have called my own doc office but the one they gave me hasn't called back. There are 200 different ones on my plan but I don't want to pick one I know nothing about. thank You for any help

As far as work. I am just starting to tell some co workers. A woman I work with had it done last year. So I was able to confide in her. She had been so helpful. Slowly I have been sharing with others. So far everyone has been very supportive. It turns out another woman I work with her daughter had it done a few months ago.
This is the hard part I have not told one of my closest friend who i work with because she will tell everyone. Right now I dont want everyone to know. I don't plan on keeping it a secret. I just think if any one asks I will tell them its amazing what a pair of scissors and a stapler can do.lol
