Thanks Elena. I'm first on the schedule Friday morning so hopefully there will be no delays. Not looking forward to just liquids again tomorrow, but maybe I'll drop another pound or two!

Thanks Karen! You're right, Friday really will be here quick and I do need some rest. I'm fighting a cold. Since my husband already took the time off, I'll be able to take a nap, something I NEVER get to do because I have 4 kids. The youngest ones are 4 and 1 and hardly let me even sit down during the day!

You're right. The person that needed the emergency surgery had a hole in their stomach. It was tough mentally though. It took a lot mentally to get to surgery time today and then just minutes away it was cancelled. My doctor had also been called in at 12:30 am the night before for an emergency. So he had been working all through the night and then all day today. Laproscopic surgery is so precise, as is any surgery, and I guess it was better that I didn't have an exhausted surgeon. I think reflexes are slower and more mistakes occur when you're tired. One little mistake could have become something serious. I have a cliche too, at least I think it's a cliche. Everything happens for a reason. Last Wednesday my four year old was diagnosed with Strep. On Monday, my one year old got a cold. I woke up yesterday feeling the onset of a cold. 
I loaded up all day on fluids, Airborne and Zicam. I still felt lousy when I went in for surgery today. I didn't say anything to them because I was afraid they would cancel. This gives me two more days to rest up and fight off this virus. As disappointed as I am, I know it's probably best not to go into surgery with a bug. The other bummer is that tomorrow I have to do strictly liquids again!

Thanks April, I will stay positive. Not looking forward to another day of just liquids, but oh well, more weight lost before surgery!
