Hi Andrew!
I think going to all these informational meetings is a GREAT idea! I wish more people would do this!
Have you gone to any of the Support Group meetings? They are very inspirational and informational as well. Hearing what the post-op people have to say about their experiences can really help with your decision making.
The great thing is that you can bring your at-home support team with you!
I hope to see you around the meetings and get to know you!

Oh Marcia!!!
I'm so sorry to hear this!!!
I would be so upset but you're right...there IS a reason for everything! We don't always know that reason until we get through the fire though.
I think things will go just fine for you on Friday.
When I read these posts, I start from the bottom and work my way up. I had already posted that I was thinking of you during your surgery today.
Let's think of positive things about not having surgery today....
You can go for a long walk
You can take your before surgery measurements (ankle to neck)
You can have someone take more before pictures of you
You can cook some healthy foods you enjoy, puree them and freeze them in ice cube trays (each cube is 1 oz) for when you're ready for them post-op
You can start a journal
You can view the You Tube video that Romeo suggested earlier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GePUJa5Mg84
You can spend another non-post-op day to spend with your beautiful family
God Bless!

I had them as a snack at night before bed...I cut into smaller pieces to decrease the calories.
I get the Flax Seed "Meal" at Whole Foods...again make sure you get the "MEAL" NOT the SEEDS themselves..

Hey Linda!
If you are vomiting several times a day and really not keeping anything down, call Dr. P's office!
Otherwise, maybe you're eating too fast? Try a tiny baby spoon. And like Eldy said, become very aware of your food! Don't rush yourself into eating foods that are more solid either. Stay on pureed and water it down if you have to!
Try different shakes until you find one you like! Yes, it can get a little costly but think of how much you're saving on eating the stuff you used to eat anyway!
I will bring some Nectar protein drinks with me to next week's meeting for you to try too.
What does Dory (Finding Nemo) sing???
See you Wednesday!

I'm going to try to make these this weekend. Do you eat these in place of a meal or just add it in as a snack?
Where the heck do you get Flack Seeds???
