Congratulations!  That is such a great accomplishment.  These victories feel so good as we move along on our weight loss journeys.

Hi Andrew,

That's great that you're checking different surgeons!  I did the same thing.  I had consultations with both Dr. Sax and Dr. Pohl.  Do you know which surgery you want to have?  I wish you the best of luck with your weight loss journey!  Marcia

Congratulations!  That is a big step forward and I am sure it feels great.  I am looking forward to getting there myself.

 Question to Romeo and Julie,

Thanks for your thoughts on both PROFECT and NECTAR....can you recommend any particular flavors that you were pleased with - or rather, perhaps displeased with?  The NECTAR comes in an apparently large supply and would have to spend the cash on such a large supply and hating the taste....any recommendations from either of you?

Thanks!

Andrew

Thanks Kim!  How are YOU feeling?  Do you still need any pain meds?  Have you started soft foods yet?

I got a call from the hospital confirming my time tomorrow.  I can't believe I will actually be in surgery in 10 hours!

I've lost 20 lbs. on the pre-op diet and it already feels so good to get a little weight off.   I can't wait to be on the loser's bench with ya'll!  I'll post as soon as I get home (because of course I'm going to be feeling GREAT).  Maybe not, but I'm going into this with a positve attitude!

Have a great weekend.  Take Care,  Marcia

Congrats!!!!!!

Isn't it the best feeling to see that change.  I'm less than 2 lbs from being "over weight" instead of obese and can't wait.  Told my husband that I'm gonna get a cake that says "Congratulation your overweight"

But since I can't eat it guess I won't be doing that

Topic: Friday is Marcia's surgery day
Hi everyone!

Has most of you have read Marcia's surgery was postponed and she has been rescheduled for Friday morning.   Please keep her in your thoughts and make sure to send her some messages.

I am working tomorrow but will be in touch with her husband and will log into OH from my blackberry to post an update for everyone.  Planning to go by the hospital Friday night as long as I get out on time, if not I will be there Saturday.  I will let you all know how she is doing.

Let's make some room on the "loser's bench" so Marcia can join us
